How to Use: 1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. 2. Choose the lowest absorbency tampon needed to manage your flow. 3. Remove the Tampax Pocket Pearl tampon from its wrapper by twisting open the wrapper at the indicated end. 4. Get into a comfortable position. You can stand with one foot on the toilet seat, sit on the toilet with your knees apart, or squat. 5. Hold the tampon applicator by the anti-slip grip. 6. Gently insert the tampon into your vagina until your fingers touch your body. 7. Push the inner tube of the applicator completely into the outer tube to release the tampon. 8. Carefully remove both parts of the applicator. The tampon string should be hanging outside of your body. 9. Dispose of the applicator in a wastebasket. Do not flush the applicator down the toilet. 10. Wash your hands again.
Recommended Frequency: Change your tampon every 4-8 hours, or more often if needed, depending on your flow. Never wear a tampon for more than 8 hours.
Additional Tips: To remove the tampon, gently pull on the string. If you feel resistance, the tampon may not be saturated enough. Wait a little longer before trying again. Always use the lowest absorbency necessary for your flow. Using a higher absorbency than needed can increase the risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS), a rare but serious illness. Store Tampax Pocket Pearl tampons in a clean, dry place. If you experience any symptoms of TSS, such as sudden fever, rash, muscle aches, dizziness, vomiting, or diarrhea, remove the tampon immediately and seek medical attention.
