Follow these instructions:
Select a low pressure setting Aim the tip toward your gums at a 90° angle Do not start the irrigator until the tip is in your mouth Slightly close your lips to avoid being splashed, but allow water to flow freely from your mouth down into the sink Lean over the sink and hold your arm perpendicularly to your torso Adjust the pressure according to your needs Stop water flow or turn the unit off before taking the tip out of your mouth Empty the reservoir completely. For best results, start in the molar region (back teeth) and move toward your front teeth. Continue along the gum line, pausing briefly from tooth to tooth until having cleaned both the inner and outer sides of upper and lower teeth.
