The French jewelry house of Boucheron was founded in 1858 by Frédéric Boucheron and is known for their beautiful, unusual and high-end pieces . Jewelry for royalty as well as other fine pieces for the wealthy were among their works as well as “accessible” jewelry for the not so rich yet still well to do class. An innovator among jewelers, Boucheron was among the first to offer the wristwatch and is often credited with defining the Art Nouvean style, as lifestyles and fashions evolved, Boucheron continued to reflect the times. With their rich history and famed craftsmanship, Boucheron has moved steadily into the modern era. The 1920s brought dangling earrings and White Jewelry or diamonds set in platinum, while the 1940s and 1950s saw Boucheron revive nature inspired motifs such as the butterfly, dragonfly and the flower and feather motif. A family business until their sale to Schweizerhall in 1994, Boucheron is now a global company with boutiques in the main capitals of the world.
In 1988 Boucheron introduced their first women’s perfume, Boucheron. Recommended for evening wear this classic and elegant floral scent is a perfect representation of Boucheron in fragrance form. Inspired by the artistry of their goldsmiths in their famed location in Paris, the Place Vendôme, Boucheron has had many notable fragrances since, such as the exquisite women’s perfumes B, B de Boucheron, the sparkling Boucheron Eau Legere, Boucheron Parfums de Joaillier, the enchanting Miss Boucheron and the daring Trouble. Men’s cologne include the 1989 Boucheron Pour Homme.
