How to Use:
1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
2. Sterilize the Enna Cycle 2 Menstrual Cup by boiling it in water for 3-5 minutes before first use and between cycles.
3. Choose your preferred folding method (C-fold, punch-down fold, 7-fold, etc.).
4. Relax your pelvic floor muscles.
5. Hold the folded cup firmly and gently insert it into the vagina, aiming towards your tailbone.
6. Once inside, rotate the cup slightly to ensure it opens fully and creates a seal against the vaginal walls. You may hear a “pop” sound, indicating the cup has opened.
7. If using the applicator: Insert the folded cup into the applicator. Relax your pelvic floor muscles and insert the applicator into the vagina, aiming towards the tailbone. Push the plunger to release the cup and then gently remove the applicator.
8. Check the seal by gently pulling on the stem. If you feel resistance, the cup is properly positioned.
9. To remove: Wash your hands thoroughly. Locate the stem and gently pull it downwards until you can reach the base of the cup. Pinch the base of the cup to break the seal and gently remove it.
10. Empty the contents into the toilet.
11. Rinse the cup with clean water and reinsert.
12. After your period, sterilize the cup again before storing it in the Enna Box.
Recommended Frequency:
The Enna Cycle 2 Menstrual Cup can be worn for up to 12 hours at a time, depending on your flow. Empty and rinse the cup at least twice a day.
Additional Tips:
Trim the stem: If the stem is uncomfortable, you can trim it to a shorter length, but be careful not to cut it too short.
