Libramed, thanks to Policaptil Gel Retard®, acts at the intestinal level, forming a highly viscous gel that favors the reduction of the quantity and speed of carbohydrate absorption (retardation effect).
This also determines a reduction in the feeling of hunger and postprandial drowsiness. Furthermore, with the same mechanism, Policaptil Gel Retard® limits the absorption of fats, promotes intestinal transit and regularizes the consistency of stools.
Composition:
Contains 84 tablets of 725 mg each.
Patented complex of polysaccharide macromolecules (Policaptil Gel Retard®); Aromas of Orange, Apple and Lemon.

How to use:
Adults and young people over 12 years of age: 3 tablets before the two main meals. Children from 8 to 12 years: 2 tablets before the two main meals.
Take the dose indicated on the package with a full glass of water, swallowing only one tablet at a time. Do not chew or break the tablets with your teeth.
Those who have swallowing problems can dissolve LibraMed tablets in warm water or unsweetened infusions, shaking until completely dissolved. The drink obtained should be ingested within a few minutes, before the gel forms.
Warnings and conservation:
Those who have swallowing problems are not advised to ingest the tablets directly; they must be dissolved beforehand. It is recommended to take the product leaving a minimum interval of two hours with respect to the administration of drugs so that it does not interfere with their absorption. Do not administer during pregnancy or lactation. Individuals undergoing pharmacological treatment for diabetes and hyperlipidemia are recommended to consult a physician to evaluate the need to modify the dosage of the drugs. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components. During the first days of use, bloating phenomena may occur, which resolve spontaneously during the course of treatment. Store at room temperature, away from heat sources and protected from light. Keep the product out of the reach of children. The expiration date refers to the unopened and properly preserved product.
