Galeno Suture 14 Strips

How to use: 1. Clean the wound thoroughly with mild soap and water, ensuring it is free of dirt and debris.
2. Dry the wound and surrounding skin completely.
3. Select the appropriate size suture strip for the wound. Smaller strips are suitable for shorter wounds, while larger strips are better for longer wounds.
4. Peel the suture strip from its backing paper, handling it by the edges to avoid touching the adhesive part.
5. Align the suture strip over the wound, ensuring the edges of the wound are brought together closely.
6. Apply the suture strip to one side of the wound, then gently pull the other side of the strip across the wound to close it.
7. Smooth down the suture strip to ensure proper adhesion.
8. Repeat steps 4-7 as needed to close the entire wound, applying strips approximately 1/8 inch (3mm) apart.
9. Avoid stretching the skin while applying the strips.

Recommended frequency: Suture strips typically stay in place for 5-10 days and will naturally fall off as the wound heals. Do not attempt to remove them prematurely. If a strip becomes loose or dirty, carefully replace it with a new one.

Additional tips: Keep the wound area clean and dry. Avoid rubbing or picking at the strips. Protect the wound from direct sunlight. Consult a healthcare professional if the wound shows signs of infection (redness, swelling, pus, or increased pain). Do not use on deep or heavily bleeding wounds. Seek medical attention for serious injuries.
