Instructions for use:
1. Wash your hands and the baby's hands thoroughly with soap and water before starting. 2. Ensure the baby is calm and comfortable. You may find it easier to trim their nails while they are sleeping. 3. Remove the protective cap from the scissors. 4. Hold the baby's finger firmly but gently, supporting the fingertip. 5. Position the scissors perpendicular to the nail, not curved along the edge.
6. Cut the nail straight across, following the natural shape of the fingertip. Avoid cutting too close to the skin. 7. It's generally better to cut nails square rather than rounded to prevent ingrown nails.
8. File any sharp edges gently with a baby nail file (not included). 9. Replace the protective cap on the scissors after use.
Recommended frequency:
A baby's nails grow quickly. Check them regularly and trim them as needed, typically every 1-2 weeks. Newborns may require more frequent nail trimming.
Additional tips:
