Instructions for Use:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before starting the piercing process.
2. Clean the earlobe with the provided antiseptic wipe (if included) or a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol. Allow the area to dry completely.
3. Carefully remove the earring from its sterile capsule. Do not touch the post of the earring with your fingers.
4. Position the earring on the marked spot on your earlobe. Inverness earrings typically have a marking to indicate optimal placement.
5. Align the earring perpendicular to the earlobe.
6. With a firm and swift motion, push the earring through the earlobe until you hear a click, indicating the Safety Cluth™ is closed.
7. Leave the earring in place for the recommended healing time (typically 6-8 weeks for earlobes).

These earrings are designed for one-time use only. Do not attempt to reuse them.

Additional Tips:

1. Do not touch the piercing with dirty hands.
2. Clean the piercing twice daily with a saline solution or a mild antiseptic.
3. Rotate the earring gently a few times each day to prevent it from sticking.
4. Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and other bodies of water for at least 2 weeks after piercing to prevent infection.
5. Avoid sleeping on the pierced ear during the healing period.
6. If you experience any signs of infection such as redness, swelling, pain, or discharge, consult a medical professional immediately.
7. After the initial healing period (6-8 weeks), you can remove the earring and replace it with other earrings. Ensure new earrings are made of hypoallergenic materials like surgical steel or 14k gold to minimize the risk of irritation.
