I used to take another brand's chitosan, and honestly, I wasn't seeing much difference... So I thought I'd give these a try, and I've noticed a slight change. Maybe it's just me, but I feel a bit less bloated after meals. I don't know if it's a placebo effect, but I'll keep taking them.
