Directions for Use:


1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. 2. Assemble the Optichamber Diamond by connecting the appropriate mask (neonatal mask for 0-18 months) to the chamber. 3. Shake the prescribed inhaler well. 4. Remove the cap from the inhaler. 5. Insert the mouthpiece of the inhaler into the back piece of the Optichamber Diamond. 6. Place the mask gently but securely over your baby's nose and mouth, ensuring a good seal. 7. Press down on the inhaler to release one puff of medication into the chamber. 8. Hold the mask in place for 5-6 breaths, allowing your baby to inhale the medication. If your baby is breathing quickly, allow them to take 6 breaths, even if it takes less than 5 seconds. 9. Remove the chamber and the inhaler. 10. If more than one puff is prescribed, repeat steps 3-9 for each puff, shaking the inhaler well before each puff. 11. Disassemble and clean the Optichamber Diamond and mask after each use according to the cleaning instructions provided with the product.


Recommended Frequency:


Use the Optichamber Diamond as directed by your physician or respiratory therapist. This will typically coincide with the prescribed frequency of your baby's inhaled medication.


Additional Tips:


1. Replace the valves of the Optichamber Diamond every 6 months or as needed. 2. If the valves appear damaged or sticky, replace them immediately. 3. Always store the Optichamber Diamond and mask in a clean, dry place. 4. If you are unsure about any aspect of using the Optichamber Diamond, consult your physician, respiratory therapist, or pharmacist. 5. Ensure the mask creates a complete seal around your baby's nose and mouth to prevent leakage of medication. 6. Do not wash the valves. They are delicate and washing may damage them. 7. Keep a spare mask and valves on hand.

This device is intended for single patient use only. Do not share between patients.
