Directions for Use:


1. Assemble the chamber: Connect the infant mask firmly to the Optichamber Diamond valve.
2. Shake the inhaler: Shake the metered-dose inhaler (MDI) vigorously for 5 seconds.
3. Insert the inhaler: Insert the mouthpiece of the MDI into the back of the Optichamber Diamond.
4. Place the mask: Gently place the mask over your infant's nose and mouth, ensuring a complete seal.
5. Administer the dose: Press down on the MDI canister once to release one puff of medication into the chamber.
6. Hold and count: Keep the mask in place and have your infant breathe normally for 5-6 breaths (approximately 30 seconds).
7. Remove the chamber: Remove the chamber and mask from your infant's face.
8. Repeat if necessary: If more than one puff is prescribed, repeat steps 2 through 7 for each additional puff, shaking the MDI before each puff.


Recommended Frequency:


Use the Optichamber Diamond as directed by your physician or respiratory therapist. Frequency will depend on your infant's prescribed medication and treatment plan.


Additional Tips:


1. Cleaning: Wash the chamber and mask in warm, soapy water after each use. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
2. Storage: Store the Optichamber Diamond and mask in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
3. Replacement: Replace the chamber every 6 months or as recommended by your healthcare provider.
