Directions for Use:
1. Before first use, install the battery according to the instructions included in the packaging. 2. Disinfect the thermometer probe with alcohol or an appropriate disinfectant wipe. Allow to dry completely. 3. Turn on the thermometer by pressing the power button. 4. For Axillary Measurement: Place the probe under the armpit and ensure it is in full contact with the skin. Keep the arm close to the body.
5. For Oral Measurement: Place the probe under the tongue towards the back of the mouth. Keep the mouth closed.
6. For Rectal Measurement: Apply a small amount of water-based lubricant to the probe. Gently insert the probe into the rectum no more than 1/2 inch. Do not force.
7. Wait for the thermometer to beep, indicating the measurement is complete. The reading will be displayed on the screen. 8. Note the temperature reading. A temperature of 98.6°F (37°C) is considered normal. Readings above 100.4°F (38°C) may indicate a fever. 9. Turn off the thermometer and clean the probe again after each use. 10. Store the thermometer in its protective case in a cool, dry place.
