How to Use:
1. Before taking a measurement, ensure the thermometer is clean and disinfected. 2. Turn on the thermometer by pressing the power button. 3. Wait for the display to show "Lo" or a similar indication. 4. Oral Use: Place the thermometer tip under the tongue, towards the back of the mouth. Close your lips gently around the thermometer.
5. Rectal Use (for infants and small children): Apply a small amount of water-based lubricant to the tip of the thermometer. Gently insert the tip into the rectum no more than 1/2 inch.
6. Underarm Use: Place the thermometer tip in the armpit and hold the arm firmly against the body.
7. Keep the thermometer in place until you hear a beep (or as instructed in the device's specific manual). 8. Remove the thermometer and read the temperature displayed. 9. Turn off the thermometer and clean it after each use.
Recommended Frequency:
Use as needed to monitor body temperature. This may vary depending on individual health conditions. For general health monitoring, once a day is usually sufficient. When experiencing fever or illness, measurements can be taken more frequently to track temperature changes.
