Cut a piece of Leukoplast Hypoallergenic Adhesive Dressing Strip to the desired length, slightly larger than the wound. 3. Carefully remove the protective backing from the adhesive strip. 4. Apply the adhesive strip directly over the wound, ensuring it adheres firmly to the surrounding skin. Avoid stretching the strip too tightly. 5. Smooth down the edges of the strip to ensure a secure seal.
Recommended Frequency: Change the dressing daily or as needed, especially if it becomes wet or soiled. For minor wounds, the dressing may be left in place for several days. Monitor the wound for any signs of infection, such as increased redness, swelling, or pus.
Additional Tips: For optimal adhesion, ensure the skin is completely dry before applying the dressing. Avoid applying the dressing over hairy areas, if possible.
