Melilax Pediatric by Aboca is indicated for the treatment of constipation in children, even in the presence of visceral hypersensitivity (as in the case of irritable colon), anal fissures and hemorrhoids. The product frees the intestine and reduces the discomfort, irritation and inflammation that accompany constipation. With a protective and consequently lenitive action on the rectal mucosa. It exerts an evacuating action that induces a stimulus to activate defecation. In addition, thanks to its mucus-like properties and its viscosity, it protects the rectal mucosa during the passage of stool. It is recommended: Open the microenema by removing the safety cover. Hold the white round ring on the bellows. With the other hand, bend the coverslip until it causes breakage and complete separation of the ring. Remove the coverslip. Apply a few drops of product to the perianal area and gently insert the cannula into the rectum. Completely compress the microenema and, once the application is finished, keep it pressed until the cannula is completely removed, to prevent the product from being re-breathed. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components. In case of persistent constipation it is important to consult a doctor to rule out other pathologies. Store at room temperature, away from heat sources and protected from light.

Directions for Use:


1. Wash your hands thoroughly. 2. Remove the safety cap from the micro-enema. 3. Hold the white round ring on the bellows with one hand. 4. With the other hand, bend the snap-off tip until it breaks and completely separates from the ring. 5. Discard the snap-off tip. 6. Apply a few drops of Melilax Pediatric to the perianal area to lubricate. 7. Gently insert the cannula into the rectum. 8. Squeeze the micro-enema completely to empty its contents. 9. While continuing to squeeze the bellows, gently remove the cannula from the rectum. This prevents the product from being drawn back into the micro-enema. 10. Dispose of the used micro-enema appropriately.


Recommended Frequency:


Melilax Pediatric can be used as needed to relieve constipation. For children, it is generally recommended to use one micro-enema per day, preferably in the evening, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Do not exceed the recommended dose unless advised by a doctor.


Additional Tips:


For best results, use Melilax Pediatric in conjunction with a balanced diet rich in fiber and fluids. Regular physical activity can also help to promote regular bowel movements. If constipation persists for more than a few days, or if you experience any discomfort or bleeding, consult a doctor. Do not use if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients. Store at room temperature, away from heat sources and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
