Instructions for Use: 1. Ensure the hot water bag is completely empty before filling.
2. Hold the hot water bag upright by the neck and fill slowly with hot, but not boiling water. Do not use water hotter than 70°C (158°F).
3. Fill the bag to a maximum of two-thirds full, leaving space at the top.
4. Expel any air from the bag by gently squeezing it until the water reaches the neck.
5. Securely tighten the stopper to prevent leaks.
6. Check for leaks by inverting the bag carefully over a sink.
7. Place the hot water bag on the affected area, ensuring the terry cloth cover is in direct contact with your skin.
8. Do not lie or sit directly on the hot water bag.
9. Monitor the temperature regularly and remove the bag if it becomes too hot.
10. After use, empty the bag completely and allow it to air dry before storing in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Recommended Frequency: Use as needed for pain relief. Generally, 15-20 minutes at a time is sufficient. Allow the skin to cool down completely between applications. Do not overuse, as excessive heat can damage the skin.
Additional Tips: Always use the terry cloth cover to protect your skin. Never fill the bag with boiling water. Do not microwave the hot water bag. Check the bag regularly for wear and tear and replace it if necessary. If pain persists, consult a healthcare professional. This hot water bag is not suitable for infants or young children. Supervise children when using this product.
