Smooth: Use the finer grit side to smooth out any rough edges and refine the shape. 4. Polish: Finish by using the smoothest side of the file to buff your nails to a healthy shine.
Recommended frequency: File your nails as needed to maintain your desired length and shape. Generally, this is once every 1-2 weeks. Avoid over-filing, as this can weaken your nails.
Additional tips: 1. Always file your nails in one direction to prevent splitting and peeling. 2. Avoid sawing back and forth as this can damage the nail. 3. Do not file too deeply into the corners of your nails, as this can make them prone to breakage. 4. After filing, apply cuticle oil to moisturize your nails and cuticles.
