I was skeptical, I'll admit. I've tried so many lip balms for herpes outbreaks and they either do nothing or feel greasy. This one actually seems to help soothe the area and the SPF is a plus. It's not a miracle cure, but it's definitely better than most. The small jar is a bit unhygienic though, I wish it came in a tube.
