Royal Mail : Took a few days longer than originally indicated. However, given the New Year holiday and severe snow here in north Scotland, a few days delay was very understandable.

Invert the vial and draw the correct dose of insulin into the syringe. Ensure there are no air bubbles. If there are, gently tap the syringe to move the bubbles to the top and push them back into the vial, then redraw the correct dose. 9. Select an injection site. Recommended sites include the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Rotate injection sites to prevent lipohypertrophy. 10. Clean the injection site with an alcohol swab. Allow the alcohol to dry completely. 11. Pinch the skin around the injection site. 12. Insert the needle at a 90-degree angle (or 45-degree angle if instructed by your healthcare provider). 13. Push the plunger all the way in to inject the insulin. 14. Release the pinched skin and withdraw the needle. 15. Apply gentle pressure to the injection site with a clean cotton ball or gauze. Do not rub. 16. Dispose of the used syringe safely in a sharps container. Never reuse syringes.
