Directions for Use:


1. Cold Application: Place the Nexcare™ ColdHot Mini Bag in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before use. Do not place directly in the freezer unless shorter, more intense cold is desired. For freezer application, limit to 30 minutes to avoid frostbite.
2. Heat Application: Heat the bag in a bain-marie (pot of simmering water) for 5-10 minutes. Ensure the bag is not in direct contact with the bottom or sides of the pot. Alternatively, heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, checking the temperature frequently, until desired warmth is achieved. Do not overheat.
3. Application: Once the desired temperature is reached, apply the bag to the affected area. Wrap the bag in a thin towel to avoid direct skin contact, especially when using frozen or very hot.
4. Removal: Remove the bag after 15-20 minutes. Allow skin to return to normal temperature before reapplying.


Recommended Frequency:


Apply as needed, up to several times a day. Allow at least 20 minutes between applications. Consult a healthcare professional if pain persists.


Additional Tips:


1. Always test the temperature of the bag before applying to the skin to avoid burns or frostbite. 2. Do not use on damaged or sensitive skin. 3. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. 4. Store the bag in a cool, dry place when not in use. 5. Do not puncture or tear the bag. If leakage occurs, discard immediately. 6. This product is reusable and long-lasting, but should be replaced if it shows signs of wear and tear.
