Thermoval Rapid Digital Thermometer

Directions for Use:

1. Before first use, clean the thermometer tip with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol.
2. Turn on the thermometer by pressing the power button. A short beep will sound and the display will show a test sequence. 3. When the display shows "Lo" and a flashing °C or °F symbol, the thermometer is ready for measurement. 4. Choose your preferred measurement site: oral, rectal, or axillary (armpit).
5. For oral use, place the thermometer tip under the tongue in one of the two heat pockets at the back of the mouth. Close your mouth and breathe normally through your nose.
6. For rectal use, carefully insert the thermometer tip no more than 1cm into the rectum. For infants, hold their legs securely to prevent movement.
7. For axillary use, place the thermometer tip in the armpit and ensure the arm is held close to the body.
8. Keep the thermometer in place until you hear a beep, indicating the measurement is complete. 9. Read the temperature displayed on the screen. 10. Turn off the thermometer by pressing the power button. Clean the thermometer tip again after each use.

Recommended Frequency:

As needed to monitor body temperature. For individuals experiencing fever, it is recommended to take measurements every 4-6 hours or as directed by a healthcare professional.

1. Always clean the thermometer before and after each use. 2. Do not drop the thermometer or expose it to extreme temperatures. 3. Store the thermometer in a safe, dry place away from children. 4. If you have any concerns about your temperature readings, consult a healthcare professional. 5. For accurate readings, ensure the thermometer is placed correctly according to the chosen measurement site. 6. Wait at least 15 minutes after eating or drinking hot or cold beverages before taking an oral temperature. 7. For rectal measurements in infants, lubricate the thermometer tip with a water-based lubricant. 8. Replace the battery when the low battery symbol appears on the display.
