How to use:
1. Before first use, install the battery according to the battery compartment markings. 2. Disinfect the thermometer probe with isopropyl alcohol before and after each use. 3. Turn on the thermometer by pressing the power button. 4. Wait for the display to show the ready symbol. 5. Oral use: Place the probe under the tongue, towards the back of the mouth. Close the mouth and keep the thermometer in place until you hear a beep.
6. Rectal use: Apply a small amount of water-based lubricant to the probe. Gently insert the probe into the rectum no more than 1/2 inch. Keep the thermometer in place until you hear a beep.
7. Axillary use: Place the probe in the armpit and ensure it has good contact with the skin. Keep the arm close to the body and the thermometer in place until you hear a beep.
8. Read the temperature on the display. 9. Turn off the thermometer and clean the probe.
Recommended frequency:
Use as needed to monitor body temperature. Consult a healthcare professional if you have concerns about your temperature or experience persistent fever.
