3. Smooth the paste gently to create a level surface. 4. Allow the paste to dry slightly before applying your ostomy pouching system. 5. Ensure the pouching system adheres securely to the paste. 6. Replace the paste each time you change your ostomy pouching system, or as needed to maintain a secure seal and protect the skin.
