Primero limpio la zona con alcohol, luego seco bien y aplico el apósito. Me gusta que sean estériles y que el adhesivo sea suave con mi piel. No me irrita nada, y eso es importante para mí.

Solía usar los apósitos de Curad, pero estos de BSN Medical son mucho mejores. Se adhieren mejor, incluso cuando sudo en el gimnasio, y la almohadilla es más absorbente. Miré varias opciones antes de decidirme, y estoy muy contenta con mi elección.

Directions for Use: 1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling the dressing. 2. Cleanse the wound area gently with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a clean towel. 3. Ensure the skin around the wound is dry before applying the dressing. 4. Open the sterile packaging carefully, avoiding touching the adhesive side of the dressing. 5. Peel the protective backing from the dressing. 6. Center the absorbent pad over the wound. 7. Smooth the adhesive edges of the dressing onto the surrounding skin, ensuring a secure seal. 8. Avoid stretching the dressing during application.
Recommended Frequency: Change the dressing daily or more frequently if it becomes wet, soiled, or loses its adhesive properties. Inspect the wound regularly for any signs of infection.
Additional Tips: For optimal wound healing, keep the wound clean and dry. Do not reuse the dressing. If the wound shows signs of infection (increased pain, redness, swelling, or pus), consult a healthcare professional. If the dressing adheres too strongly and causes discomfort upon removal, moisten the edges with sterile saline solution or clean water to loosen the adhesive.
