Usage Instructions: 1. Clean and dry the skin thoroughly around the wound area. 2. Open the Tegaderm package carefully, ensuring sterility is maintained. 3. Remove the protective paper backing from the dressing. 4. Center the dressing over the wound, avoiding stretching. 5. Smooth the dressing firmly onto the skin, starting from the center and working outwards. 6. Remove the white frame from the dressing.
Recommended Frequency: Tegaderm dressings can be left in place for up to 7 days, depending on the wound condition and the amount of exudate. Change the dressing if it becomes loose, leaks, or is visibly soiled.
Additional Tips: Ensure the skin is completely dry before applying the dressing to maximize adhesion.
Avoid applying tension to the dressing during application to prevent blistering.
If the dressing is difficult to remove, try soaking it with warm water to loosen the adhesive.
