These things just work. I needed something to hold a small cut closed on my hand and these did the trick perfectly. Simple, effective, and they stayed on even after washing my hands a few times. Can't ask for more than that.

My doctor actually recommended these after a minor procedure. You really need to prep the skin well - clean and dry is key. I also found that pressing them down firmly for a good minute helps them adhere much better. So far, so good, they're staying put!

Instructions for Use:
1. Clean and dry the wound thoroughly. Ensure the skin around the wound is free of oils, lotions, and other debris.
2. Peel a Steri-Strip from its backing, handling it by the ends to avoid touching the adhesive area.
3. Align the Steri-Strip across the wound, bringing the skin edges together gently but firmly. Do not stretch the strip.
4. Apply the Steri-Strip, starting at the center of the wound and smoothing it outwards towards the edges. Ensure good contact with the skin.
5. Overlap subsequent Steri-Strips by approximately half their width to create a secure closure. Space them evenly along the wound.
6. Avoid applying the strips too tightly, as this can cause blistering or discomfort.
7. Leave the Steri-Strips in place until they fall off naturally, typically within 5-10 days. Do not attempt to remove them prematurely.
Recommended Frequency:
These Steri-Strips are intended for single-use application. Replace them if they become loose, wet, or soiled.
Additional Tips:
1. For best results, apply Steri-Strips to clean, dry wounds that are not actively bleeding. 2. If the wound is deep, jagged, or shows signs of infection, consult a healthcare professional. 3. Avoid using lotions, creams, or ointments directly on the wound under the Steri-Strips, as this can weaken the adhesive. 4. Protect the Steri-Strips from excessive moisture by covering them with a waterproof bandage if necessary. 5. If redness, swelling, or pus develops around the wound, seek medical attention immediately. 6. Store unused Steri-Strips in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
