Wasn't sure these would actually hold up, but they're surprisingly good for minor cuts. The adhesive is strong, which is key, but I do wish they came in a slightly wider size for some areas.

Directions for Use: 1. Cleanse the wound: Thoroughly wash the affected area with mild soap and water. Rinse well and gently pat dry with a clean towel.
2. Ensure dry skin: Make sure the skin around the wound is completely dry before applying the Steri-Strips.
3. Prepare the Steri-Strip: Peel a Steri-Strip from its backing, handling it by the ends to avoid touching the adhesive part.
4. Apply the Steri-Strip: Gently bring the edges of the wound together and place the Steri-Strip across the wound, perpendicular to the direction of the cut. Do not stretch the Steri-Strip. Apply additional Steri-Strips, spaced approximately 1/8 inch (3mm) apart, as needed to close the wound.
5. Smooth and secure: Gently smooth down the Steri-Strip to ensure good adhesion.
6. Leave in place: Leave the Steri-Strips in place until they fall off naturally, typically within 5-10 days. Do not attempt to remove them prematurely.
Recommended Frequency: Apply Steri-Strips as needed to close a clean, minor wound. Replace only if they become loose or soiled.
Additional Tips: 1. Not for deep wounds: Steri-Strips are intended for superficial cuts and lacerations. Do not use on deep wounds, puncture wounds, animal bites, or infected wounds. Seek medical attention for these types of injuries.
2. Avoid tension: Do not stretch the Steri-Strips during application. This can cause blistering or skin irritation.
3. Keep dry: Keep the area dry for at least 24 hours after application. Avoid soaking in baths or swimming.
4. Monitor for infection: Watch for signs of infection, such as increased pain, redness, swelling, or pus. If you notice any of these signs, consult a healthcare professional immediately.
5. Consult a doctor: If you are unsure whether Steri-Strips are appropriate for your wound, or if you have any concerns, consult a doctor or other healthcare professional.
