Description Molutrex Solution by ACM Laboratories is a treatment against benign, highly contagious skin infection, which usually affects the skin and sometimes the mucous membranes, and has been on the rise for 10 years, especially in children with atopic skin. Indication Molutrex is a liquid for topical use recommended for the local cutaneous treatment of Molluscum contagiosum (highly contagious viral skin infection). Medical device classified as IIa. This is a regulated medical device, which, under these regulations, bears the CE seal. Intake mode It is recommended to use 1 to 2 applications a day until the appearance of redness (generally 2 to 10 days). It does not need rinsing. It can be used on the face and body (avoid the eye contour and mucous membranes), for adults and children from 2 years. Precautions This product may cause more or less undesirable effects, particularly a burning or transient irritation sensation. The intensity of the irritation depends on how sensitive the skin is and the amount of product applied. Follow the instructions for use. Hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation can occur after the disappearance of some Molluscum contagiosum. This will clear up spontaneously. Always notify your doctor or pharmacist of any unwanted side or irritant effects. Composition Potassium hydroxide, Purified water.

Directions for Use: 1. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after each application. 2. Ensure the affected area is clean and dry. 3. Using the applicator, apply a small amount of Molutrex Solution directly onto each Molluscum contagiosum lesion.
4. Avoid applying the solution to healthy skin surrounding the lesions. 5. Allow the solution to dry completely. Do not rinse. 6. Do not cover the treated area with bandages or dressings unless directed by a healthcare professional.


Recommended Frequency: Apply 1 to 2 times daily until redness appears around the lesions. This typically occurs within 2 to 10 days. Discontinue use once redness appears.


Additional Tips: 1. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
2. This product may cause a temporary burning or irritating sensation. This is normal and usually subsides quickly. If irritation persists or becomes severe, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
3. Do not scratch or pick at the lesions.
4. Avoid sharing towels, clothing, and other personal items to prevent the spread of Molluscum contagiosum.
5. Temporary skin discoloration (hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation) may occur after the lesions disappear. This is usually temporary and resolves spontaneously. 6. Consult a healthcare professional if you have any concerns or if the lesions do not improve after several weeks of treatment. 7. Keep out of reach of children.
8. Store at room temperature.

Ingredients: Salicylic acid, lactic acid, polyethylene glycol 400. WARNINGS: This product contains beta-hydroxy acids (BHAs) and alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and broken skin. A mild stinging sensation may occur upon application. If irritation develops, discontinue use and consult a physician. Keep out of reach of children. This product is flammable. Do not use near heat or flame.

  • My sister in law recommended this product and I have to say, it is wonderful. My 5 year old daughter has been dealing with molluscum for almost a year. I started applying this to her bumps about a week ago and they are drying up and going away. I also noticed that they are not spreading anymore. The one thing that kills me to use it on her is that she screams that it stings her. Some bumps are flesh color and tiny and others are bigger and slightly red. I am not sure if she is just being dramatic or if it does really sting her that bad. Either way, we push through and continue to use it because it is the only thing that has helped.
