Directions for Use:

1. Preparation: Protect your clothing with an old towel or cape. Put on the provided gloves. Perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before each application, even if you have previously used colouring products.
2. Mixing: In a non-metallic bowl, mix equal parts of the Herbatint 6C Dark Ash Blonde colourant and the Glycol Developer. Mix thoroughly using a non-metallic utensil until a smooth, creamy consistency is achieved. Do not store any unused mixed product.
3. Application (For first time users or significant root regrowth): Apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair, starting at the roots and working towards the ends. Ensure complete coverage.
4. Development Time: Leave the mixture on for 40 minutes.
5. Application (For touch-ups): Apply the mixture to the roots only and leave for 30 minutes. Then apply the remaining mixture to the lengths and ends and leave for a further 10 minutes.
6. Rinsing: After the development time, rinse your hair thoroughly with warm water until the water runs clear.
7. Conditioning: Apply the Normalizing Shampoo provided. Rinse thoroughly. Apply the Royal Cream conditioner provided. Leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Recommended Frequency:

Apply Herbatint as needed to cover roots or refresh colour, typically every 4-6 weeks depending on individual hair growth and colour fading.

Additional Tips:

1. For best results, do not wash your hair for 24-48 hours before applying Herbatint. 2. If you have stubborn grey hair, you may leave the colour on for up to 50 minutes, but do not exceed this time. 3. For longer lasting colour, avoid frequent washing with harsh shampoos. Use colour-safe shampoos and conditioners. 4. Protect your coloured hair from sun exposure by wearing a hat or using UV protection hair products. 5. Conduct a strand test before applying the colour to your entire head, especially if you are unsure about the final result. 6. If the mixture gets into your eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
