Directions for Use:

1. Always perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before each application.
2. Preparation: Protect your clothing with a towel. Wear suitable gloves provided in the kit.
3. Mixing: In a non-metallic bowl, combine equal parts of the Herbatint 5C Light Chestnut Ash colour cream and the Glycol Developer. Mix thoroughly using a non-metallic utensil until you obtain a smooth, creamy consistency.
4. Application - First Time Users: Apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair, starting at the roots and working towards the ends. Ensure complete coverage.
5. Application - Root Touch-Up: Apply the mixture only to the new growth area, leaving it on for 30 minutes. Then, apply the remaining mixture to the rest of the hair and leave for a further 10 minutes.
6. Development Time: Leave the mixture on your hair for 40 minutes for first-time applications. For root touch-ups, follow the instructions in step 5.
7. Rinsing: After the development time, rinse your hair thoroughly with warm water until the water runs clear.
8. Conditioning: Apply the Royal Cream conditioner provided in the kit. Leave it on for 2-3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
9. Drying and Styling: Dry and style your hair as usual.

Recommended Frequency:

Apply Herbatint 5C Light Chestnut Ash as needed, typically every 4-6 weeks, depending on the rate of hair growth and the visibility of grey hair or root regrowth.

Additional Tips:

1. For best results, use the product on dry, unwashed hair. 2. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. 3. If using Herbatint for the first time, apply the mixture to the entire length of the hair for even colour distribution. 4. For stubborn grey hair, you may increase the development time up to a maximum of 50 minutes. 5. Perform a strand test before applying the product to your entire head, especially if you have previously coloured your hair or have chemically treated hair. 6. Store the unopened product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, the colour and developer components can be stored separately for future use, ensuring the caps are tightly closed.
