This cream did exactly as advertised, brightened my skin. It has the effect of making one look more awake and vibrant. It evened out inconsistencies and made my skin tone look more even. Dark areas around the eyes are lightened, making me look more awake. The cream fills in wrinkles, minimizing their depth making them less pronounced.
