1. Wash and dry the baby's hands and feet thoroughly. 2. Ensure the baby is calm and comfortable, preferably with someone helping to hold their hand or foot still. 3. Remove the protective cap from the Beter Nuk Baby Scissors. 4. Carefully position the rounded tips of the scissors against the baby's nail, ensuring you are not cutting any skin. 5. Using small, controlled snips, trim the nail straight across, following the natural curve of the finger or toe. 6. Avoid cutting the nails too short. 7. For newborns, you may find it easier to file the nails instead of cutting them, especially during the first few weeks. 8. Once finished, replace the protective cap on the scissors and store them safely out of reach of children.
Recommended Frequency:
A baby's nails grow quickly, so you may need to trim them as often as once or twice a week. Check your baby's nails regularly and trim them as needed to prevent scratching.
