Instructions for Use:
These earrings are designed for use with the Inverness System 2000 ear piercing instrument. Do not attempt to insert these earrings without the appropriate Inverness piercing instrument. 1. Ensure the earlobe is clean and disinfected. 2. Load the Inverness Earring 555C into the Inverness System 2000 instrument according to the instrument's instructions. 3. Position the instrument against the marked piercing location on the earlobe. 4. Firmly and swiftly squeeze the instrument's trigger to pierce the ear and insert the earring. 5. The earring will be automatically secured in place by the safety lock. 6. Dispose of the used instrument cartridge according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Recommended Frequency:
These earrings are intended for initial piercing and should be left in place for at least 6 weeks for earlobes and at least 12 weeks for cartilage piercings. Do not remove the earrings during this initial healing period unless advised by a medical professional.
Additional Tips:
1. Clean the pierced area twice daily with a saline solution or a mild antiseptic cleanser recommended by your piercer. 2. Avoid touching the piercing with unwashed hands. 3. Rotate the earring gently a few times daily after the initial healing period to prevent it from adhering to the skin. 4. Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and other bodies of water for at least 2 weeks after piercing. 5. If you experience any signs of infection, such as redness, swelling, excessive pain, or discharge, consult a medical professional immediately. 6. After the initial healing period, you can change to other earrings, but ensure they are made of hypoallergenic materials, such as titanium or surgical steel, to minimize the risk of allergic reactions.
