Odm 5 Corneal Antioedema Multidose 10ml

ODM5 is indicated to reduce corneal oedemas: oedemas caused by corneal dystrophies, post-traumatic oedemas and post-surgical oedemas. Corneal oedemas are characterised by excess fluid in the cornea. ODM5®, a hypersaline solution, expels the excess of these fluids out of the cornea by osmotic effect, which allows a normal state of hydration to be temporarily restored. In this way, ODM5® helps to improve the quality of your vision.
COMPOSITION
5 % sodium chloride, 0.15 % sodium hyaluronate. Other ingredients: Purified water, trisodium citrate dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
Store at room temperature (+2 to +25°C).
SIDE EFFECTS
In some cases, temporary disturbances may occur after application of the product, such as: a slight burning or stinging sensation or momentary blurred vision.
In case of persistent side effects or side effects not described in this leaflet, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Wash hands thoroughly before using the solution.
Apply 1 or 2 drops 4 times a day to the inside of the lower eyelid of the eye by looking upwards and pulling down slightly on the lower eyelid.
After applying the product, keep the eye closed for 1 to 2 minutes.
Avoid contact of the tip of the container with the eye or eyelids.
Does not require rinsing after use.
OPHTHALMIC ROUTE. During the first use, check the presence of the safety seal and then remove it. Remove the protective cap by pulling it upwards. Instill 1 or 2 drops in the eye. Do not forget to replace the cap after each use, making sure that no residual drops remain on the tip of the dropper; if necessary, let them fall out with a sharp flick of the wrist.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
Do not swallow.
Do not use after the expiry date stated on the container.
Once opened, use within three months.
Carefully close the container after each use, checking that there are no residual drops in the mouthpiece; if any liquid remains in the mouthpiece, clean it by shaking the container with a quick movement of the wrist. (risk of microbial contamination).
Do not use if container is damaged (risk of microbial contamination).
Avoid any contact of the container mouthpiece with the eye (risk of microbial contamination).
If your doctor has prescribed the use of another eye drop, respect a minimum time of 15 minutes between instillations.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Hypersensitivity to any of its components.
