I needed something to help with my ankle discomfort and this brace is a significant upgrade from the basic elastic sleeve I was using before. The silicone pads make a huge difference in targeted support and comfort around the malleolus. It’s also much more breathable, which is great because my old one would get really sweaty during longer periods of wear. This one actually stays put without needing constant adjustments.
