2. Select the appropriate size: Choose a dressing that is slightly larger than the wound.
3. Remove the backing paper: Carefully peel off the protective backing paper from the dressing, avoiding touching the adhesive side.
4. Apply the dressing: Center the dressing over the wound and gently smooth it down, ensuring good contact with the surrounding skin.
5. Do not stretch the dressing: Applying the dressing without stretching will ensure optimal adhesion and performance.
Recommended Frequency:
Leave the dressing in place until it begins to detach on its own. This can take several days, depending on the wound and the amount of exudate. Do not attempt to remove the dressing prematurely. Replacing the dressing too often can disrupt the healing process.
