Open the Tegaderm Pad package carefully, avoiding touching the adhesive side of the dressing. 3. Peel back the liner and center the pad over the wound or area requiring protection. 4. Gently smooth the adhesive border onto the skin, ensuring firm contact. 5. Avoid stretching the dressing during application. 6. Once applied, the Tegaderm Pad can be left in place for several days, depending on the specific needs and condition of the wound.
Recommended Frequency: Change the Tegaderm Pad as needed, typically every 5-7 days, or sooner if the dressing becomes soiled, loose, or damaged. For heavily draining wounds, more frequent changes may be necessary. Consult with a healthcare professional for specific guidance.
