Directions for Use: 1. Clean and dry the scar area thoroughly. 2. Cut Mepiform to a size slightly larger than the scar, leaving at least 1cm overlap. 3. Remove the protective release liner. 4. Apply Mepiform directly to the scar, ensuring smooth adhesion without stretching. 5. If necessary, secure the edges with medical tape. 6. Mepiform can be worn for up to 7 days, even during showering or bathing.

Recommended Frequency: For optimal results, wear Mepiform continuously for 24 hours a day. Replace the dressing every 7 days or sooner if it becomes detached or soiled. Treatment duration varies depending on the scar's maturity and individual response, but typically ranges from 2 to 6 months for newer scars and potentially longer for older scars.

Additional Tips: 1. For best adhesion, ensure the skin is completely dry and free of oils or lotions before application. 2. Trim any excess hair around the scar area to improve adhesion and prevent discomfort. 3. Avoid applying Mepiform to open wounds or infected areas. 4. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. 5. Mepiform can be cut to fit various scar shapes and sizes. 6. For optimal effectiveness, start treatment as soon as the wound has closed and the sutures are removed (for new scars). 7. Consistent use is key to achieving optimal scar improvement.

Ingredients: Safetac silicone coated dressing. WARNINGS: Do not use on open wounds. Discontinue use if skin irritation or rash develops. Do not use with ointments or creams as this may affect the adhesive properties of the dressing. If the dressing is difficult to remove, moisten with water to aid removal. For external use only.
