Directions for Use: 1. Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly. 2. Remove the protective film from the adhesive side of the dressing. 3. Apply the dressing directly over the blister, ensuring the central pad covers the entire affected area. 4. Smooth down the edges of the dressing to ensure a secure fit. 5. Leave the dressing in place until it starts to detach on its own. Do not attempt to remove it prematurely.
Recommended Frequency: Apply a new dressing as needed, typically when the existing dressing begins to peel off. This can be up to every 48 hours, depending on the condition of the blister and individual activity levels.
Additional Tips: For best results:
1. Avoid puncturing the blister. If the blister has already burst, cleanse the area gently before applying the dressing. 2. Do not reuse dressings. 3. If the blister persists for more than a few days, or shows signs of infection (increased pain, redness, swelling, or pus), consult a healthcare professional. 4. To prevent further blisters, identify and address the cause of friction, such as ill-fitting shoes or repetitive movements. 5. Consider using preventative measures like applying anti-chafing balm or wearing protective padding in areas prone to blisters.
