Cleanse the wound area gently with a suitable antiseptic solution as directed by your healthcare professional and allow it to dry completely. 3. Open the sterile packaging carefully, avoiding touching the adhesive side of the dressing. 4. Peel the protective backing from the dressing. 5. Center the dressing over the wound, ensuring the absorbent pad fully covers the affected area. 6. Smooth the edges of the dressing firmly onto the surrounding skin to ensure a secure seal. 7. Avoid stretching the dressing during application.
Recommended Frequency: Change the dressing as directed by your healthcare professional, typically every 1-3 days or as needed if the dressing becomes soiled or wet. Do not reuse the dressing.
Additional Tips: For optimal wound healing, keep the wound area clean and dry. If you experience any signs of infection such as increased pain, redness, swelling, or discharge, consult your healthcare professional immediately.
