Check the circulation regularly by pressing on a fingernail or toenail distal to the bandage. The color should return quickly. If not, loosen the bandage slightly.
Recommended Frequency: Follow your healthcare professional's instructions regarding bandage application frequency and duration. Generally, elastic bandages can be worn throughout the day, but should be removed at night to allow the skin to breathe and promote circulation.
