How to Use: 1. Before bath time: Place the Philips Avent Bath and Bedroom Thermometer in the room to measure the ambient temperature. This helps ensure the room is comfortably warm for your baby. 2. For bath water: Fill the baby's bath with water. 3. Immerse the Thermometer: Gently place the thermometer into the bath water. Ensure it is fully immersed to get an accurate reading. The thermometer is designed to float. 4. Read the Temperature: Wait a few moments for the thermometer to stabilize. Check the digital display to read the water temperature. 5. Ideal Temperature: Aim for a water temperature between 36.5°C and 38°C (approximately 98°F to 100°F). Ensure the temperature does not exceed 39°C (approximately 102°F) for your baby's safety. 6. Adjust as Needed: If the water is too hot, add cold water. If it's too cold, add warm water. Always mix the water thoroughly and re-check the temperature before placing your baby in the bath. 7. After Use: Remove the thermometer from the water and dry it with a soft cloth. Store in a safe place.
