How to Use: 1. Wash all bottle parts thoroughly before first use and after each subsequent use. 2. Assemble the internal vent system by inserting the vent reservoir into the base of the vent tube. 3. Place the assembled vent system into the bottle, ensuring it sits flush at the bottom. 4. Fill the bottle with desired amount of milk or formula, being careful not to overfill. 5. Place the nipple over the bottle opening and screw the collar ring onto the bottle until snug. 6. Before feeding, ensure the vent reservoir is open to allow air flow and prevent vacuum buildup. 7. After feeding, disassemble all parts and clean thoroughly. 8. Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling.
Recommended Frequency: Use the Dr. Brown's bottle for each feeding as needed.
Additional Tips: 1. Always inspect the nipple for any signs of wear and tear and replace as needed. 2. Dr. Brown's bottles can be used with or without the internal vent system, although using the vent system is recommended to help reduce colic, spit-up, and gas. 3. When warming the bottle, do not microwave. Instead, use a bottle warmer or warm water bath. 4. Be sure to check the temperature of the milk or formula before feeding to ensure it's not too hot. 5. This bottle is designed to help preserve vitamins C, A, and E, as well as lipids, in breast milk or formula. 6. The Level 1 nipple is suitable for newborns and infants. As your baby grows, you may need to switch to a higher flow nipple. 7. For proper cleaning, you can wash the bottle parts by hand or in the dishwasher (top rack only). A bottle brush is recommended for thorough cleaning of the vent system.
