The Waterpik Family Dental Water Jet WP-70 is a countertop model that is designed for use by more than one person. It efficiently removes oral biofilm (bacterial plaque) and improves gingival health. The Waterpik Family Dental Water Jet WP-70 is a countertop irrigator that works when it is plugged into an electric power supply, and its handle is connected to the base. The transparent reservoir has a 1000 ml water capacity. It has 6 pressure control settings and it offers a compact design that is easy to carry. It includes the following replacement tips: Classic Tip (CN 383893.1), Tongue Cleaner Tip (CN 183657.1) and Pik Pocket® Tip (CN 158347.5). Do not turn the unit on until the tip is in your mouth. Close your lips slightly to avoid getting wet, but allow water to flow freely from your mouth down into the sink. Hold over the sink, keeping your arm at a perpendicular angle to your torso. Regulate the pressure depending on your needs. Stop the flow of water or turn the unit off before removing the tip from your mouth. When you are done, discard remaining liquid and make sure the unit is left empty.

Instructions for Use:


1. Fill the reservoir with lukewarm water. 2. Select the desired tip and firmly attach it to the handle. 3. Set the pressure control to the lowest setting (1) for initial use. Gradually increase the pressure as needed. 4. Lean over the sink and place the tip in your mouth before turning the unit on. 5. Close your lips slightly to prevent splashing, allowing water to flow from your mouth into the sink. 6. Aim the tip at a 90-degree angle to your gumline.
7. Starting with the back teeth, trace along the gumline, pausing briefly between teeth. 8. Continue to the front teeth, both upper and lower. 9. For best results with the Tongue Cleaner Tip, place the tip towards the back of your tongue and gently pull forward.
10. The Pik Pocket® Tip is specifically designed for cleaning periodontal pockets. Gently insert the soft tip below the gumline and into the pocket.
11. Once finished, turn the unit off and empty any remaining water from the reservoir.

Use the Waterpik irrigator once daily, preferably at night after brushing, for optimal oral hygiene.


Additional Tips:


For optimal results, consider the following:
1. Consult your dentist to determine the appropriate pressure setting for your individual needs. 2. Replace tips as needed, typically every 3-6 months. 3. Use lukewarm water for a comfortable experience. 4. If you experience any discomfort, discontinue use and consult your dentist. 5. Clean the reservoir regularly to prevent bacterial buildup.

Do not use iodine, saline (salt) solutions, or water-soluble essential oils in this product, as they may damage the components and void the warranty. Do not drop or forcefully strike the unit. Do not place or store the unit where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. Do not submerge the unit in water or other liquids. Do not reach for a unit that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered. Keep the unit and cord away from heated surfaces. Do not use this product for anything other than its intended purpose. Keep out of reach of children. This product contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard for young children.
