Directions for Use: 1. Wash your hands thoroughly. 2. Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. 3. Hold the tube of Systane® Ophthalmic Gel above your eye and gently squeeze one drop into the pocket. 4. Slowly close your eye and roll your eyeball around to distribute the gel evenly. 5. Avoid touching the tip of the tube to your eye, eyelashes, or any other surface to prevent contamination. 6. Replace the cap tightly after each use.
Recommended Frequency: Use as needed throughout the day to relieve dry eye symptoms. Typically, this is 1 to 2 drops in each affected eye as needed.
Additional Tips: For contact lens wearers: Remove contact lenses before applying Systane® Ophthalmic Gel and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
Temporary blurred vision: You may experience temporary blurred vision after application. Wait until your vision clears before driving or operating machinery.
Discomfort or irritation: If you experience any persistent eye discomfort, redness, or irritation, discontinue use and consult your eye doctor.
Storage: Store at room temperature and protect from excessive heat and light.
Discard date: Discard the tube 3 months after opening, even if there is gel remaining.
