Leave the dressing in place until it starts to detach on its own (it can stay in place for several days). 6. To remove, gently stretch the dressing horizontally along the skin.
Recommended Frequency: Apply a new Compeed blister dressing as needed, typically when the previous one starts to detach. It can stay in place for several days, providing continuous protection and promoting healing.
Additional Tips: 1. Do not puncture the blister before applying the dressing. 2. Avoid applying creams or lotions to the blister before application as this may affect adhesion. 3. For optimal adhesion, warm the dressing between your hands for a few moments before applying. 4. If the dressing does not adhere properly or becomes dirty, replace it with a new one. 5. For very large or persistent blisters, consult a healthcare professional. 6. Store in a cool, dry place.
