Directions for Use:
1. Clean and dry the affected scar area thoroughly. 2. Cut the Dermatix Silicone Film sheet to a size slightly larger than the scar, ensuring complete coverage. 3. Remove the clear backing from the adhesive side of the film. 4. Apply the adhesive side of the Dermatix Silicone Film directly onto the scar, avoiding stretching the film. 5. Smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles. If the scar is located on a joint, secure the edges of the film with medical tape if necessary.
Recommended Frequency:
For optimal results, apply Dermatix Silicone Film for a minimum of 12 hours per day, ideally 24 hours per day. Continue treatment for 2-6 months or as directed by your healthcare professional.
Additional Tips:
1. Wash the Dermatix Silicone Film at least once a day with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before reapplying.
2. Avoid using creams, lotions, or ointments on the scar area before applying the film, as this may affect adhesion. 3. If the film becomes dirty or loses its adhesiveness, replace it with a new piece. 4. Makeup can be applied over the Dermatix Silicone Film once it is dry. 5. Store the product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. 6. Consult your healthcare professional if you experience any irritation or discomfort.
